What Light Spectrum Do They Block?Specifically, they block wavelengths between 380–500 nm. These are emitted by most screens and artificial lighting, meaning you're exposed to them throughout the day. If you watch TV, work on a computer, or use your phone in the evening, maximum light blocking is essential. Simply enabling the red screen mode isn’t enough. Excessive exposure to blue and green light can disrupt your circadian rhythm, primarily by reducing the production of the sleep hormone melatonin. |
