Delivery was pretty quick to the UK and the item (Mitohacker 4.0) was well packaged. The item is well made and seems to be powerful. One minor gripe is that the on / off switch on the panel will not stay 'off' (this is easily remedied by turning the wall socket off). Initially I think I overdid it and dried out and aggravated my (already dry) skin and have now cut down to just 10 minute all-body sessions. Only been a week so still need to see how best to use - signs are promising. Perhaps more info could be supplied by the company as to how best to use for certain conditions (I have read the Ari Whitten book which focusses more on US products).

A general guideline is to begin with shorter sessions at a moderate distance—about 15-50 cm from the light source—and gradually increase as you gauge your skin’s tolerance and response. For deeper tissue effects, like muscle and joint relief, closer proximity to the light can be more beneficial, whereas, for skin and hair, a slightly farther distance can still be effective without the risk of irritation. Also, it's essential to consider the entire illuminated area and the irradiation power, which decrease and increase, respectively, with greater distances. Finding the right balance for your specific needs can take some adjustments, and your proactive approach is commendable. What's there not to like? - This is how customer service should be. Early days using the Bulb 4.0, but having looked up some of the research on red light therapy, I am confident about its efficacy.

The Bulb 4.0 is a solid product delivered quickly. I have used it daily for over two weeks now and can list the following benefits: improved sleep, reduced pain in my wrist and smoother skin on my face. Amazingly, I have had a bald patch on the back of my head for years and the hair has started growing again! The only improvement I would suggest is the creation of a stand, as the bulb is quite heavy and to hold it behind you head for 15 minutes requires some creativity and adjusting of angles. I have also used it on my partner who has complex scalp problems and he said the itch had gone away within minutes. Mito Light should consider designing a helmet. Those exist in other brands but given the quality of your product, I would be keen to trust your version, should it become available.

Regarding your feedback about the need for support when using Bulb, the use of pillows for stability is a really innovative idea! However, we understand it's not the ideal solution. Your comfort and ease of use are important to us. As you've pointed out, while the Bulb does not require a dedicated stand and can be held freely, we understand that for longer sessions, holding it might become uncomfortable. We have an excellent alternative—utilizing a lamp or chandelier with an E27 thread. This is a practical and versatile solution that many of our customers find helpful. For a seamless fit, ensure that the lamp or chandelier supports an input voltage of AC 100-240V and has a minimum power wattage capability of 18W. This will ensure that the Bulb operates safely and effectively. Additionally, it's also important to consider the size of the lampshade. The Bulb has a diameter of 12.1 cm. The build quality of the Starter 4 is very good, I've owned mine a couple of weeks and use it twice a day on my knees and hands. So far I haven't noticed the same pain relief I experienced with much cheaper red light therapy belts, I'll see if how it goes the longer I use it. Given the very high price of the Starter 4 the stand is a huge let down as it offers little in the way of position adjustment it doesn't even offer rotation so that it can be used either in the vertical or horizontal plain to suit your need. On top of the high price of the Starter 4 I had to pay an additional £55 for a far more flexible and useful stand. The advertised app has been temporarily withdrawn from the Play Store aledgedly due to compatibility issues, so at this time I can't use the app and the app is one reason I purchased the Starter 4. Mito Light communication has been very good they've been only to happy to reply in a timely manner to all my Emails. I've given 3 stars because the stand offers such a small amount of adjustment requiring additional cost to replace it.

The light cam and was very impressed with the build quality however after the first session the light was not working, I contacted mito and was emailed back with instructions and I’m pleased to the problem was identified/ fault in the cable. Which is being replaced..

Poor value for money. At the price point of the product I’d expect it to be fully and easily adjustable to sit horizontally or vertically using a simple lever to adjust the position. Instead the stand is very much fixed in one position and requires a lot of work to adjust between horizontal and vertical which would be fine but not the price they are asking. It’s a lot of money for some poor design.

It is true that to change position, two threads must be unscrewed by hand, the panel rotated 90 degrees on the axis, and then the two threads screwed back in by hand. Very happy so far. Excellent customer service and nice product. What I have noticed as a result of using the light for 15 mins daily is that my sleep is much improved and my energy levels are way up ! I have not done anything else so I am attributing it to the red light.

I don't think I have ever rewied a product before but this company is special. From the moment I contacted Jitka with my enquiry I felt my custom mattered and I cannot thank them enough. I have left it a couple of weeks to see if the starter 4.0 would work and I can categorically say it does! In fact several members of the family use it so it has definitely been value for money too. Excellent customer service, speedly delivery, quality product. What more could you ask for.

Excellent customer service, Jitka was attentive, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I wanted to see the results are a few weeks before sharing. I had a hairline fracture on my collar bone, it was halfway healed but after using the red light daily it really sped up the healing process. It’s now fully healed and I’m doing physiotherapy. The red light is helping with recovery, I’m started to regain strength in my arm. My skin has improved, its softer and plumper, plus my eyebrows and eyelashes feel thicker. I’ve found that less is more, I just use It 5-8 minutes 4-6 times a week and that gives me the best results. It also has helped boost my mood in winter. Not only this, people in my household have terrible coughs and virus’ - usually I always catch them - but still haven’t yet (touch wood). Its helped me my family recover from their virus’. Really happy with this purchase!!
